Cricket Tikes
Cricket Tikes provides independent cricket coaching for children aged 5–16 and was established in 2017. Coaches are ECB-qualified and follow a shared methodology. Players receive weekly observations recorded individually.
Weekend programmes include Foundation groups for ages 5–7 and Development groups for ages 7–10. The midweek academy offers invitation-only evening coaching in nets, while the Saturday academy accepts invited players up to ages 15–16. The academy provides access to an ECB Level 3 Advanced Coach in small groups. Academy players must supply their own full safety kit.
All sessions take place at Merchant Taylors’ School in Northwood. Sessions normally use the indoor sports hall, with outdoor sessions in good weather. Training equipment includes a BOLA Junior bowling machine.
Monthly subscriptions start at £43.75 for one child in one class, or £69.50 for Academy. There is a one-off £30 registration fee. Families also receive a 25% Gray-Nicolls discount.
Bookings are made through ClassForKids. One-off trial sessions are not offered, and cancellation requires one term’s notice.
