AI in sport reports: student analysis, voice notes and translation
How to use AI inside Badgie reports: the AI Coach button drafts an analysis from the grades, voice notes are transcribed, notes can be translated and the agent can fill in and send reports with your approval.

Quick answer
AI does not grade for you: it helps you write. In each report, AI Coach drafts an analysis of the student from their grades, which you review and save as a public or private note. You can also dictate voice notes, translate a note into another language and ask the Badgie agent to propose grades or sends for you to approve.

Where to find it
- ACADEMY › Sport Reports › open a student's report › Notes + AI tab.
- AI Coach button (analysis), voice recording and a Translate with AI button on each note.
- The Badgie agent, from the bubble or Agent mode.
Generate the analysis with AI Coach
- Open the student's report and go to Notes + AI.
- Click AI Coach. The "AI Analysis" dialog opens.
- Choose Response length (Short, Medium or Long) and language.
- Optional: write Custom instructions (for example "focus on turns").
- Decide whether the note is Public (visible to the student or guardian) and whether to include coach notes in the analysis.
- Click Generate Analysis, review the text and save it as a note.
Voice notes and translation
- In Notes + AI you can record a voice note: Badgie transcribes it and adds it as a written note.
- Each note has Translate with AI: it creates a version in another language (useful with international families) and adds it as a new note.
With the AI agent
The Badgie agent works with real report data: get_reports_snapshot (report status), get_report_matrix (a template's matrix), report_fill_responses (proposes grades for many cells at once, always with valid values for the scale) and report_send (proposes sending the report to chosen students). The last two are proposals that do not run until you approve them.
Frequently asked questions
Does the AI make up grades?
No. AI Coach only drafts text from existing grades; the coach enters the grades (in the matrix, the report or by scanning the sheet).
Which languages can it write in?
You pick the language in the dialog before generating; any note can be translated afterwards.
