Create your first student: manual, express and import

• Web: Community → Students menu (/dashboard/students), Create new student button. Also from the Dashboard: the + button on the Students card or the Add New student quick action.
• Onboarding: the Athletes and Guardians step of the setup board accepts a spreadsheet, a CSV or a photo of your list.
• Coach app: Express signup, to enrol someone who turns up for a trial class.

1. Go to Community → Students. With an empty list you'll see Your school starts with its students and the three ways to add them.
2. Press Create new student (or Add my first student).
3. Choose Manual Registration and fill in at least first name, last name, email and phone. Everything else (date of birth, health, guardians, class, fee) can be added later from their record.
4. Save: the student appears in the list and receives their credentials to log in to the app.
5. Open their record to add the family (father, mother or guardian), their category and their Smart Tags.

• Generate QR: shows a code the student or family scans to sign up from their phone.
• Send WhatsApp: sends the sign-up link to the phone number you enter.
• From the coach app, Express signup offers the same three options. In Settings the club decides whether express sign-up also asks for teacher, schedule and consents (extended registration) or only first name, last name, mobile and email (super express registration).
• For enrolments with more data (guardians, consents, payment) use an enrollment form: the student is created when you approve the request.

1. Have the list in an Excel (.xlsx) or CSV file, one row per student; a photo of a paper list also works.
2. Give it to the AI agent, or upload it in the Athletes and Guardians step of Onboarding, which offers a sample template.
3. Review what will be created: rows with missing data (first name, last name, invalid email or incomplete phone) are flagged for you to fix.
4. Confirm and they are all added in one go. With the AI agent, welcome emails are off unless you ask for them.

You can also send us the spreadsheet by WhatsApp or email from the empty list itself and we'll load it for you. More in Importing students.

With their credentials, the family logs in to the Badgie app, picks the child and sees their calendar, badges, reports, club messages and family billing. The coach sees the new student in the app's student list.

• Football: after adding the player, assign them to their team for the season. See Setting up a football academy.
• Golf: record their federation licence (also with the AI agent) to follow their daily RFEG handicap.
• Other sports: assign their category or level and their class on the calendar.

Ask Badgie Agentic "Add Lucía García, email lucia@example.com, phone 600 000 000" or hand it the spreadsheet. It uses the create_student tool, shows you what it will create and runs it when you approve. With find_students it first checks whether the student already exists, and with resend_student_credentials it resends the credentials.
